I don't know what to say to this. I'm amazed that there are people who seriously worry about such a scenario.

It's only paranoia if they aren't out to get you. It happens that the hoplophobes, Progressives and Marxists are out to get us. Sadly for them, their secret is blown, we know what they are planning, and we're doing a little planning ourselves to deal with them decisively should they attempt to implement their plans. And it doesn't necessarily involve ballot boxes or polite discourse.
