He did a show that lasted more than one season?

Better than that: The first season was only 3 episodes, so having a second with 6 must make it a resounding success.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:He did a show that lasted more than one season?
I'll post links to the first season episodes once I track down good copies.
I also watched a program late last night by Richard Hammond where he learned to operate an Abrams tank. Probably a repeat, but I hadn't seen it before.

I'd like to watch a programme with Hamster Hammond and an Abrams Tank but not with him driving it.....

Question for James May, something I need to know. Why do I see you guys mentioning all these great shows and all I can see on the schedule is Top Gear and Hell's Fucking Kitchen?

He was forced to drive over several cars that he happened to own.Clinton Huxley wrote:I'd like to watch a programme with Hamster Hammond and an Abrams Tank but not with him driving it.....
Not the exact same cars unfortunately.

I can't abide Hammond. I detest his floppy hair and his floppy hands. He was bloody awful on that wildlife programme.

I love James May. For a brief while there, he was giving me inexplicable flutteries (I'm over it.
) Wish I could watch this.
Richard Hammond, though?
Where's the remote?

May is the boring-est on Top Gear though. Only good when he drove that Bugatti.

Boring, yeah. But a smartie. And he actually tries to do nice work, in sharp contrast to the willfully sloppy craftsmanship of the other two.Nibbler wrote:May is the boring-est on Top Gear though. Only good when he drove that Bugatti.
I like enthusiastic dorks, especially when they're also musicians. Did you see the episode of TG when they were in... Latvia? Some Eastern European place where they had all these WWII fighter planes. He just couldn't stop talking, he was so excited. I like that sort of thing.
Plus, it was sort of brilliant to pair him with a real ponce on that winery tour show. You got more of a sense of what he was like outside of the TG gang.
I know. I'm not going to try to justify it any more than that. It's a little embarrassing.
