Gotta admit, it's a way cool uniform. Just think of the terror when they kick in your door at 4AM screaming "RAPEY ATHEIST RAUS!"
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Just a vowel movement.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

People seen this Facebook group? Mai posts there. It is very anti-theist..as the name suggests. The tone is belligerent in a way I dislike.

I find they post some interesting stuff. I've "liked" a number of these groups but I don't really get involved in conversations on their pages.

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

I usually just read the names of posters: Woo_Monster, Sniffer of Starfarts says
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

"Bullshit Free Zone" on their banner... Like there is a human on the Earth, or in orbit 'round it, who is without some bullshit.

I think that language has a lot to do with interfering in our relationship to direct experience. A simple thing like metaphor will allows you to go to a place and say 'this is like that'. Well, this isn't like that. This is like this.

We could all do with remembering it every so often. Sadly, now the series gets filed under obsolete when it's anything but.

The same old arrogance rears up anew with every successive generation. They all know better: It's pathetic.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
