No. I don't blame him. Because Dems don't CARE if the tax returns are perfectly legal. They want the records so they can claim he's a really rich guy with overseas bank accounts and lots of passive income. It won't matter that it's not illegal or even unusual. They will simply harp on any allegation of him as a top 1% income bracket guy. The IRS audited some of his returns. No penalty.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:So Romney is going to take the low road too, or is that just an excuse for covering up his own shit?

Anyway, if you want to support plutarchy, that's fine. You should be ashamed of yourself, but being a Republican inures you to that kind of thing.

Well, I wouldn't expect him to be audited every year. Nobody is.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:"some".Coito ergo sum wrote:No. I don't blame him. Because Dems don't CARE if the tax returns are perfectly legal. I don't support plutarchy -- I'm just not a Democrat hypocrite who decries wealth for the opposing party, but is fine with it when it comes to Democrats. You act like the Democrats are less wealthy? LOL -- either you're wilfully blind or just plain ignorant.

You are a typical Republican. You want to be a plutocrat regardless of what it does to the country.

Re: Political posterizing.
Well, this is just namecalling bullshit.
I'm not "typical" of either party. And, I do want the best for the country. Obama isn't that. He doesn't even want the best for the country. If you actually listened to what he aspires to, you would see that. He isn't interested in improving the economy, because he thinks we are on an unsustainable course, and that we need to put the brakes on it. He thinks we pay to little for energy, not too much. He thinks that the US and western Europe have it disproportionately good, and that the right thing to do is for us to come down to the level of the rest of the world.
If you think that Obama wants the level of prosperity in the US to increase, you're smoking something funny. He tells you flat out what he wants in his books. He doesn't like the system made the US the strongest and wealthiest country in the world. He wants to fundamentally transform that to something else.
I'm not saying he's evil. I think he genuinely thinks the world would be a better place if the fundamental transformations he wants come to fruition. I disagree. I think his desired aims would make things worse -- it would not achieve a greater good for a greater number. He would make things worse for most people.

What pablum. And typical of conservatives - you take fear and try to make sense out of it.

Re: Political posterizing.
I think it's ridiculous that you constantly trot out the old "fear" canard. I'm not afraid. It's capital L Liberals -- Liberal Democrats - that express the most fear, which is why you project that nonsense on those you hate.
Didn't he say we should be paying more for gasoline? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articl ... 13206.html On what basis should I believe that he wants to reduce energy costs, if that's what he wants? Didn't he say that his plans would have us paying more for electricity, and that would be a good thing?
Electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket.
I don't agree with his plan. I'm not "afraid" of him. I don't agree. Get that through you skull. If you're afraid, that's your deal. Don't project your nonsense on me.
I think he truly thinks it would be better for the world if those things came to pass. I'm not "afraid" of him. I disagree with him on those points.

Re: Political posterizing.
No... I see fear. A lot of it. It's one thing to make a point that his policies are counterproductive. It's something else to say that he's DELIBERATELY TRYING to make the country worse as a matter of policy! And that's exactly what you were saying before. You can't say things like that and then just assume I'm projecting my own feelings when I describe how I interpret them.
It's a bizarre stretch to say that an expectation of higher gas and electricity prices means his ultimate goal is to reduce American prosperity and bring us down to the rest of the world. That's a logical fallacy, to put it mildly.
I don't mind trotting out the old fear canard at all. Dare I say it's a scientific fact that conservatives are more attuned and responsive to fear than liberals? Well, they are. Don't make me trot out the studies that have been done on this.
BTW - There are very few people I genuinely hate. But I have mountains of disrespect for many conservatives.

C.E.S., so, why all the fear-mongering then? You use fear to foment hate.
