I dream of one day voting Republican. But the GOP in its current form is Republican in name only. They've gone quite bonkers.
Analogy for the conservatives here: suppose Obama locked up the nomination in 2008, and people weren't quite sure what to expect from him, and for his running mate he picked Dennis Kucinich. What would you think Obama and the Democrats then?

I cringed at the idea of Biden too, because he is known for verbal diarrhea like that. Kucinich and Ryan both seem personally respectable, but their politics put them so far on the fringes that they don't deserve to identify themselves with their own parties.
