I have three books in the bathroom atm, as I sometimes read on the loo, but mostly in the bath ..
Of the three, The Songlines is the most enjoyable read (Pappa, I think you'd like). The other two ..The Hunger Games has not engaged me at all, and AC Greyling's The Meaning of Life is a bit disappointing ..unlikely to finish reading either of them.

If I bring reading at all, it's something fragmented enough that I won't want to stay overlong, like RPG statistics or other precise, discrete and short things. I seriously prefer to do my reading with my rear comfortably covered.

the goblin too, was increasingly reading the posts of posters such as Grace Gabriel and Jats, saying "...some poster's posts are just stand out and leave one thinking, whereas how I hate those writers who go "well these are just my posts I know, but my books are worth reading and are really something else", for surely one is the same author in both mediums then...", and with that the goblin cut short his rant short and returned to his thread again, yes it was a long battle slow battle indeed but slowly the humans were gaining enough confidence in themselves to do posts well worthy of their pens, so the nature of forumland was changing in his humble view
