You're grasping at straws to avoid the very real fact that there are over a dozen methodologically valid studies that have found high rates of defensive gun use in the US, because if guns are used more often in defense of innocents than they are used by criminals to perpetrate violence, your argument falls apart.

It is if you leave the house and carry with you. Specifics depend on which state.
In Montana you can't carry into a bar even if you don't drink.

You're right. Nobody has ever defended themselves with a gun, because we weren't there as eyewitnesses to it. Every one of the millions of reported defensive gun uses is a fabrication, yet I'm sure any statistics that support your end of the argument are solid fucking gold.

I would be surprised if the "legal limit" for drinking wasn't the upper threshold for carrying a gun as well, if not lower. To be honest, of the two, I'd be more concerned from a legal standpoint about the gun than the driving. Best to avoid doing either after a few drinks.

I've heard plenty of bike riding and sitting with your laptop on your junk can help make you sterile.
