Logitech, source of all good peripherals, has finally decided to make one dongle work for multiple devices. Someone will probably tell me that's not news, but it was to me. But the real question is why didn't they do that from the start?

I have a Trust keyboard and mouse that are a delight to use. They work on the same dongle, and that stopped working recently, and so I had no keyboard or mouse.
They replaced it free, even though it was more than a year old.
However, the new one didn't work either. You need a special file to re-pair the dongle with the peripheral. ( there used to be a button, to synchronise them ).
All working fine now, actually, the re-pairing file fixed the old dongle.
I think one of my usb ports is a bit dodgy, which is probably why the pairing was lost.
But one-dongle-works-all could leave you with nothing working.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Dongle? you mean some type of wireless device?
I'd never feed Suzy input that did not go through a wire first.
