I think the sample "modification" to the image is somewhat suspect - an un-natural wave to a waistband just looks wrong in the first place.

I don't think men are that shallow.
Surely it depends on the body part?
If a woman has great tits, then that's what you look at. If she's got a great ass, then that gets your attention.
And if she's wearing tight jeans, then you always find your eyes looking at the crotch.
You force yourself to look away, and yet within ten seconds, you find your eyes have gone back there.
Shallow? I think not !!
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

I don't like how people think they're mutually exclusive. You can enjoy a look and still think there's a sexy mind in that sexy sexy body. Amirite? :smoke:

Women are certainly the shallower sex. Behind every man with a trophy wife is a gold digger :{D
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I'm curious about whether sexual orientation was a factor in this at all.

Do gay men see men as body parts and women as whole persons? Do gay women see women as body parts and men as whole persons? Was this controlled for? :ask:

Do trained proficient professional artists/photographers have the ability to juggle between parts and whole to find a ideal balance with regards mass appeal for their work? :dunno:

It's a totally unconscious thing.

I read recently that men look at animals in the same way. A male dog, they look at the dick, and a bitch, they check out the fanny. Even though they have no intention of engaging in any kind of bestiality. It's just an automatic eye movement.

I've just been watching the womens' weightlifting, and the snatch was unbelievable.

I have a very holistic view. I enjoy the sight of each and every female body part.
For every human action, there is a rationalisation and a reason. Only sometimes do they coincide.
