They don't even smell, I think they have some antimicrobial agents built into the rubber. You can always wash them with soap and water, or just leave them outside in the rain. I leave my old pair outside 24x7x365 and use them for out door work when there may be dog poop about.
You walk in dog poop with them and claim they still don't smell? I think the problem here might be your nose.

I have an uncle who, from my recollection, always wore socks with sandals. Nothing says fashion than light blue dress socks in sandals. But, then again, that generation (my dad and uncle -- both in their early 70s now) was never particularly fashion conscious. "Men don't have fashion. Men wear clothes." I think that's a quote from the movie Easy Money with Rodney Dangerfield and Joe Pesci.

LOL -- it's "Men don't have style. Women have style. Men wear clothes..." LOL -- Joe Pesci's line..

What are you talking about? All sorts of men were fashion-conscious in the 70s. And the 60s, 50s, etc., etc.

But the seventies in particular was a decade where even straight businessmen were starting to wear bright colors like pink and mustard, and loud patterns, and statement neckwear, and were styling their hair-- facial and otherwise.

Some men didn't care about all that. But there are some people in every generation who don't get clothes.

I am only saying that I think it's fair to say that most guys who are now that age were brought up in the way satirized by the Easy Money clips above. It's not that nobody was ever fashion conscious. It's just that "real men" weren't. The stereotypical real men. That's why some men have no worries about blue dress socks with sandals and such, or they don't care if their colors match.

My outdoor pair that I leave outside all the time, not my regular pair.

Ah!

I like Tevas for camping. Especially near(or walking in) water.
