Anyone Threatening to Move Out of the US this election?

Post by Coito ergo sum » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:38 pm

I think it's been about 16, 1996, since we had an election where one side or the other wasn't advancing the notion of moving out of the US if so-and-so gets elected.

I haven't heard Democrats advancing that notion about the Mittmeister, or Republicans about the reelection of B.O.

Am I missing something, or has that whole "I'm moving to another country" line gotten stale?

I don't worry about it. If it became that intolerable I could easily move to France, Germany or Vietnam where I have family.

I've already decided I will move to France if hubby dies before I do, just for the health care.

Principle? I thought his name was TA.

Don't stand on him though, it might hurt.

I'm threatening to remain awake for this election. No promises though.

I'm threatening to move back into the country!
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Hell I'll move back to the country BEFORE the election!
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
