How to liven up Question Time!

How to liven up Question Time!

Let's face it, political debate is hardly the most exciting thing on TV. Perhaps we need to take a leaf out of the Jordanian book and add a little physicality and danger? :dunno:

Johny Rotten/Lydon was on last week's Question Time. No guns but a bit of very mild anarchy and sadly a large display of ignorance.

As burning politicans at the stake is illegal (through Nick Clegg would legalise it if he kept him in power long) I suggest something far simpler.

Only allow yes or no answers from politicians (questions would be framed so such an answer was possible)

I don't get the whole 'throw my shoe at you' attack.

Cos you're unlikely to do any real damage and if you need to do a runner it could be quite painful?

Do they carry spares just in case?

Short media memory alert. Don't you remember how 'insulting' throwing your show is to Slamists?

Yes, but it's not terribly convincing or threatening it is?

The real problem is that the politician did not fire.

I propose that all politicians be given sub machine guns, fully loaded, before each debating session. If we are lucky, we might end up with fewer of them!
For every human action, there is a rationalisation and a reason. Only sometimes do they coincide.

Confusion, inconsistency, interrupting and shambling...for starters.
