Brand new Alan Partridge series starts tonight
If you are a fan of Steve Coogan's appalling invention (I am!) there is a new series called Welcome to the Places of my Life starting tonight on Sky Atlantic at 9.00.

Another case of Sky buying up the rights to a program so that hardly anyone ends up watching it.

Just finished and as excruciatingly awkward and off the mark as ever, though with more pathos I think. One ends up feeling sorry for Alan Partridge. There's a sub plot built into the documentary he is making about Norfolk involving a medical test which could be really nasty for him - the outcome that is. Won't give it away but it is so well done.
One of those things you actually want to turn off every so often because the character is so dreadfully obnoxious!
