I'm not talking about what information is POSSIBLE to get, if you do the research.

I'm talking about the information that the mass population gets spoon-fed.
The people who decide who's going to run the country for four or five years, get the information that rich media-owners want them to get.

That's what counts. People like me don't matter. I don't buy newspapers, and disbelieve what I hear on the news, till the evidence confirms it. But I'm not typical, nor are you. Most people just soak up what they read and hear, and vote accordingly. It's the masses who matter, come election time. And actually, long before it too.

Politicians are actually adjusting their policies to what won't get ferociously criticised in the media.
So the owners of the media are dictating POLICY, even before the elections are run.

You can discount them, but you can't out-vote them.

There have always been ways around that.

That's true. In Florida anyway. Bend the rules by bending the voting cards.

Censorship. Yeahy. Just what we always needed.
That's a sweetly naive idea, that there is no censorship now.
It is sweetly naive indeed, but what the fuck makes you think that in my opinion there is no censorship right now? Something I posted somewhere? Point to it.
mistermack wrote:And making untrue and biased reporting an offence, isn't censorship.
LOL. I guess there is an objective standard to determine what constitutes untrue and biased reporting, and you own it. :pawiz:
