Princeton just added some courses now...I could use some brushing up on a few of these, I think I'm going to sign up for either the history, sociology or statistics course. Maybe two, or all three even.

I knew this was coming. Blackboard is the default course manager, but for a price. Eventually I see the best lecturers taking ownership of their recordings and charging a fee. The best educators will be treated as celebrities. It makes little sense now to spend all that money for 'the college experience' when graduates leave with so much debt. Buy a collection of the best lectures, go to a local test center for exams.

Thanks for the link mai!

What an enlightened opinion :prof:
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Curious what is a 'local test centre', most the course of a degree is paying someone to write and mark multiple pieces of work including exams. Tutorials are a minor part of the cost

See 'proctored exams' - usually done at a local community college, although a high school or anywhere they can monitor an exam will work. The idea being that they confirm the identity of the test-taker and watch during the exam to ensure honesty. I suppose with webcams and other technology that online exams could work too.
