Love Lust and ...

Post by maiforpeace » Sat Apr 21, 2012 9:58 pm

Love, Lust is really an interesting program. I am certain most of you will like it as much as I do.
ABOUT THE SERIES
From the foods we love to eat to the mythical creatures that love to eat us, Sundance Channel's LOVE LUST will take on our guiltiest pleasures this summer, including the undead (vampires, zombies, etc.), social networks, sex symbols and secret societies. Each hour-long episode of LOVE LUST provides a definitive and entertaining account of how life's cultural innovations progress from novelty to ubiquity.
The next episode is about:
Love Lust & Power Couples
From Cleopatra & Mark Antony to Beyonce & Jay-Z, there is no more magnetic a duo than the power couple. They have inspired rabid followings, dictated style, and changed history. Alone they captivate us. Together they're unstoppable.

Schedule - some of the episode subjects.

13/1 Love Lust & Holiday Feasts
14/1 Love Lust & Breakfast
16/1 Love Lust & Lingerie
3/2 Love Lust & Power Couples
0/0 Love Lust & Little Black Dress
5/1 Love Lust & Street Eats
4/1 Love Lust & Makeup

Sounds like something I'd really enjoy.

That blurb, together with the headings of the episodes, leaves me cold. Sounds like tabloid shit. And Cleopatra and Antony were stoppable. Octavian put an end to their power in no uncertain fashion.
