New French government... I don't like it.
Many of the nominations were expected, some came out of nowhere, any number of them were completely incongruous... people given portfolios that they have no expertise in, some massive pandering (I mean, ecologists got 2 ministerial seats out of 34 when they had less than 2% votes), the job of public relations for the government (basically, the minister that makes all important government public statements and who is the go to when you want official government stance on anything) given to the minister to women's rights... who happens to be a double French/moroccan national, by marriage (she's a Moroccan who married a French guy)... and we even now have a minister of "productive righting up", to whom a sub minister to craftsbusiness and tourism will be reporting.

Same across the globe right now. Gotta wait for the global economy to fully capsize before things change. For the better or worse is up to you.Svartalf wrote:Many of the nominations were expected, some came out of nowhere, any number of them were completely incongruous... people given portfolios that they have no expertise in, some massive pandering (I mean, ecologists got 2 ministerial seats out of 34 when they had less than 2% votes), the job of public relations for the government (basically, the minister that makes all important government public statements and who is the go to when you want official government stance on anything) given to the minister to women's rights... who happens to be a double French/moroccan national, by marriage (she's a Moroccan who married a French guy)... and we even now have a minister of "productive righting up", to whom a sub minister to craftsbusiness and tourism will be reporting.

"Productive righting up"... yeah, we know that's got to do with the economy, given that the minister of tourism and small business will be under his supervision, but honestly, Sharkshyt's ministry to "National identity and immigration" made more sense.

So basically we should expect major gains for the FN in a few years?Svartalf wrote:Many of the nominations were expected, some came out of nowhere, any number of them were completely incongruous... people given portfolios that they have no expertise in, some massive pandering (I mean, ecologists got 2 ministerial seats out of 34 when they had less than 2% votes), the job of public relations for the government (basically, the minister that makes all important government public statements and who is the go to when you want official government stance on anything) given to the minister to women's rights... who happens to be a double French/moroccan national, by marriage (she's a Moroccan who married a French guy)... and we even now have a minister of "productive righting up", to whom a sub minister to craftsbusiness and tourism will be reporting.
