He said that most expats easily get into fights when Koreans insult them (which happens often enough when they're drunk). But, my friend said, even though I speak Korean well enough to understand the insults and have a 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido, I just ignore the insults and show no sign of being affected by them at all. What a wacko I must be!!

When I point out that "see the Yerpeeins do it" it's not to defend the policy. It's to point out the balls-out hypocrisy of the Yerpeeins who bitch about it when Merkins do it, but defend it when Yerpeeins do it. Just like on every immigration discussion. When Yerpeeins exclude someone for holding the wrong opinion, it's a reasonable extension of national sovereignty. When Merkins want to verify citizenship of persons suspected of criminal behavior, it's racist and wrong, but when Yerpeeins do it, it's fine (and all Yerpeein countries do it).

It's deflation of braggarts that I'm involved in here. The Yerpeein' braggadocio of being so much more calm, thoughtful, and enlightened. Everything about Yerup is better - haven't you seen the threads? Your food. Your people - they're smarter, better educated, more responsible citizens, etc. Your manner of living, all that sort of thing. Yerpeeins excel in pomposity.

It becomes tiresome to hear the neverending mantra about how US immigration law is so unfair. Then we get something like this about the UK, and it's phrased, of course, that the American, who had done nothing wrong, is the problem, not the arbitrary British immigration rule? Had this been an American law at issue, the thread would have been "Merka denies entry to innocent person for espousing the wrong opinion" or something like that and we'd be banging on about how the US immigration system is something out of the 19th century.

The ONLY person I see regularly bleating about U.S. immigration is you, a lot, usually as an example of the hypocrisy of Europeans. I understand that it is tough being the Evil Empire, but you have to accept that like the English still, almost every nation tends to hate you and looks for any excuse to undermine you. If you are expecting people not to be hypocrites then too bad. If it's tiresome stop prating on about it.

I'll stop, when the neverending mantra of "All things Yerpein are better" and "Merka sucks" stops. Until then, as long as Yerpeeins are going to be jerking off to their own image, I'll keep pointing it out that their doing it.

The point is, Yerpeeins don't seem to to see the problems with their own governments, or at least if they do, they don't talk about them. We get endless discussions of the minutia of American law, but if anything is brought up about UK law, it's like "oh, well, no need to discuss that - we know our laws are fucked up." Great response.

Those endless discussions tend to be between you and Seth who I'm led to believe are not Europeans. It seems to me that you get indignant that others complain about your nation and then attempt to respond in kind. If you really think you're government are a bad joke, join the party rather than defend the cunts.

You haven't followed the discussions then. The only endless discussions I have with Seth are about legal issues and constitutional issues, and almost invariably we are on opposite sides.
