Is there a social network for introverts? Somewhere which isn't primarily about communicating but more communing(notes to self) - a half blog half network? retaining some of the features and functionality of social media but allowing sincere introspection too? Similar to Last FM but more global? I've been trying to find this and it appears there's a empty niche in the social network market for a primarily ineffecient network.

I didn't know you were a retired shut in... I suspect you're a lot more social than I am, even if you have to drown the stress in gin when you have stood all those morons all day long.

Not retired, but not particularly social, either...Svartalf wrote:I didn't know you were a retired shut in... I suspect you're a lot more social than I am, even if you have to drown the stress in gin when you have stood all those morons all day long.
And actually, teaching and my students give me quite a lot of pleasure - its the bureaucratic component of teaching that tires me out. I had a physics prac class today, helping the lads set up a variety of circuits, and measure the current and voltage, and I enjoyed every moment of it, mainly because they did too...
