The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Why would they invite a poopy pants draft dodger like him to the concert in the first place? :?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Here's a section of an interview from Nugent:
On "The Dixie Chicks":

Ted: Let me tell you what has happened with THE DIXIE CHICKS… First of all, I salute them. They are not only amazingly talented, they have a wonderful work ethic and they make wonderful music. Plus, they are fine-ass women! I also salute them for standing up for what they believe in. Unfortunately, most of your celebrities are insulated. They literally create a wall of comfort around them.

This morning Uncle Ted got up with my sons Toby and Rocco…. We shoveled the dog kennels. I shoveled the crap out of the horse stalls. We do this everyday. We carry hay and straw and bring water and feed to our livestock and then we go out and cut wood. We plant trees this time of year. In other words, I am a hands-on guy. I am a rugged individual. I don't have 'yes' men around me. I don't have people catering to me. I don't have people servicing me. I stand up for myself and I do my own jobs. I change my own oil and I kill my own food. I gut it, I butcher it and I cook it. I take care of my own life.

THE DIXIE CHICKS are insulated. They are prima donnas. They wouldn't know the truth if it smacked them right between the eyes. So I would like to offer them the truth: If you do not kill evil under the terms of righteous, freedom-loving people like Americans then we will have to face evil in America on the evil's terms. That is unacceptable. So DIXIE CHICKS, I just recommend you shut up and sing and let the warriors take care of your freedom. You love to deny the truth and live in an insulated world of fantasy and then criticize the very system by which you can live free and brave. Suck me!

Well Ted, there's an old saying that people are most eager to teach what they most need to learn. :coffee:
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Definitely
"To think that there's a bureaucrat in the United States Army that would consider the use or abuse of First Amendment rights in determining who is going to perform at an Army base is an insult and defiles the sacrifices of those heroes who fought for the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights," Nugent said.
I mean, the guy disses the CiC, if not actually threatening him... and he expects to get gigs with the army? Man, even if you dislike the guy in the high seat, you at least respect the seat.

Seriously? Lol... because it was like 40 years ago, and there's been amnesty and status of limitations about that, and people like to listen to him?

and there he goes and give them fresh motive for boycott.

Like GW Bush and Rush Limbo, he dodged combat legally. Now that he's not going out to fight, he's very much pro-war to the point of insulting those who are anti-war. The standard term for that kind of person "Chickenhawk".

Like the Dixie Chicks, I'm still not ready to make nice over some of that stuff.

So he's a pedophile (or at least cradle robbing) chickenhawk who seems to like and abuse his first ammendment rights? How about he take gigs at the Westboro church?

Better yet, a "would burn all his records/CDs but I don't own any because he hasn't produced anything I found interesting after I turned 12" day. :{D
