I'm not sure how high levels of gravity would affect a brain floating in a fluid, totally enclosed.
If the brain is the same density as the fluid, would it even feel the hi-g?
All pressure would be evenly distributed in a fluid, so I really don't know if hi-g would be any problem at all.
Fish at the bottom of the deepest ocean don't seem to feel the incredible pressures, so maybe a brain in a fluid would be the same.
If any physicist could work it out, I'd be grateful. This is important to my master plan.

What I forgot to mention is that this plan is for when we can keep people alive for so long, that their own bodies just crumble. So having your brain fitted into a robot body would be an improvement in lifestyle.

Spinning space stations would be even better. You could have any gravity you like.
The outer part would be the same gravity as the Earth, and as you moved in towards the centre, the artificial gravity would get less and less, down to zero at the centre.
So you could just choose how much you would weigh that day.

All perfect for the elderly.

The trouble with that idea is that the area in the centre would inevitably become a zero-G orgy room (At least in the wee-small hours, ship's time) which would be great for those taking part (at least for a while.. keep reading), but would rather spoil it for everyone else, what with all the used condoms, diaphrams, etc, and copious globs of expelled bodily fluids floating & flying around, sticking to the occupants, not to mention the walls, gumming up the air vents and generally making the place unpleasant and unhygenic.
So no. NOT perfect for the elderly, as they tend to be rather bent and wrinkly and don't look good naked. They also tire easily, lose their dentures and eyeglasses and get lost trying to find the exit.

I don't think body fluids would be a problem. They would have dried up years ago.
So no need for condoms etc.
And old tits would look a lot better, with zero gravity.

Ah no, but that's not the point I was making. I was saying that normal human bodies degenerate in low g, because they need gravity to stay healthy. But just a brain, fitted in a life-supporting robot body, wouldn't suffer in low g, and would therefore be ideal for long trips to distant parts of the solar system, and for living on low g planets or moons. The elderly would be ideal for it, because their original bodies might be fucked anyway.
If I was a typical 115 year old, and they offered me the chance to switch to a fully fit robot body, I'd jump at the chance.
