WWII ended nearly seventy years ago, by the way. Why in God's name do we still have bases there?

Anyway, to answer the question, I'd say Canada (i.e. Northern U.S.)

Canada, the UK and Australia all get a three-way tie, from my point of view because this is known as the "four eyes" community of intelligence sharing - lots of classified information is disseminated among these four (when it's not labeled US-only, that is).
There's also a "five eyes" list that includes New Zealand, but those lists aren't quite as common for some reason. :ask:
