James Cameron

So what do you reckon James Cameron is going to find there, down in the trenches? And will it make up for Avatar? Will he redeem himself?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

He has nothing to redeem himself for even if you hated Avatar...his first three big movies make up for that and then some.

If we're lucky, maybe he'll find some fabulous footage down there...or 'The Abyss' maybe? Some 'Aliens' perhaps?

James Cameron = Weak stories rescued by SOTA special effects. You're too busy going "WOW!" that you don't see that even Arthur C Clarke wrote better plots with more believable characters. :tea:

Eye candy is quite enough to get me to the theater. Books unfold plots better and I have a movie running in my mind's eye when I read, I don't really see the words, I see the actions. Movies will never replace the theater in my mind, I wouldn't want them too. But they do add scenery to my mental collection, and Avatar was good for that. Those floating mountains will fly in my dreams for years to come.

They're just movies, guys, but if you want to dramatize dramas, feel free.

Naw, I didn't hate it. I was just joking. I think Cameron is enormously talented clever and innovative. He could use a decent script writer, though.

I think this thing he just did is very very cool, and a great use of his talents.

Cameron may be a bit annoying but he ain't Michael Bay or McG. Now, they should be sent to the bottom of the ocean....
