Thanks a heap, you two - you just killed the thread with anticipative boredom. :sulk: And the poor thing was coming along so nicely, and for once about a more or less new topic. :sigh:

I always try to choose the stairs over an escalator, simply because it's better for my health, and you never get stuck behind anyone because most people are too lazy to walk up the stairs.

If the man had been carrying his shotgun he would have been able to blow his own foot off when it got stuck to his liberty back, but when you are socialist prolateriat slaves all you can do if go of to the hospital and get it stuck back on

Never use a shotgun when a pocket knife will do.

There was a spate of toe-mangling here in the US which victims blamed on Crocs footwear. Seems the stuff they are made of is very appetizing to escalators, causing toes to get sucked into the works along with the shoes. Escalator repairmen were telling of piles of shredded Crocs under the escalators. Crocs ended up having to put a warning tag on their shoes.

I like to run up the downs.
Unfortunately doing that is frowned upon.

I know I should be surprised, but somehow I feel almost certain that those people live about 2 blocks away and drove to the gym in their Hummers.

And in the kind of climate where palms grow. Gawd bless Merka!
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Feck, I would exercise more, but the machine is all the way across the room and the DVD isn't in the place. :sigh:
