maniacal? Sounds like someone I'd like
He is the Honourable Tony Abbott...
I suspect he will be our new PM next year...

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I've not seen any suggestion by Paul that the 13th Amendment should be repealed.Tyrannical wrote:I don't recall Ron Paul ever suggesting repealing the 13th amendmentSchneibster wrote:Wrong Paul? Isn't he the one who wants to repeal the anti-slavery amendment?
Good luck with that.

http://content.usatoday.com/communities ... oll-says/1People can't help but wonder what might happen if Hillary Rodham Clinton ran again for president.
A new Time magazine poll shows Clinton easily defeating the major Republican candidates, were she somehow to become the 2012 Democratic nominee for president.
Clinton leads Mitt Romney, 55% to 38%; Rick Perry, 58% to 32%; and Herman Cain, 56% to 34%, among likely voters in a general election.

In 2008, the youth vote helped sweep Barack Obama into office. Americans 18-29 spread the word on social media, energized fundraising and went to the polls.
In 2012, the youth vote is moving on and throwing those omnipresent “Hope” bumper stickers and t-shirts in garbage bins.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government ... obama-tapeEarlier today, Buzzfeed’s Ben Smith announced on Twitter that video researcher Andrew Kaczynski had released “the mysterious Harvard/Obama/race video that the Breitbart folks have been talking about.”
The video, which Kaczynski says was “licensed from a Boston television station,” shows a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell, a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright--about whom we will be releasing significant information in the coming hours.
However, the video has been selectively edited--either by the Boston television station or by Buzzfeed itself. Over the course of the day, Breitbart.com will be releasing additional footage that has been hidden by Obama's allies in the mainstream media and academia.
Breitbart.com Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak and Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will appear on The Sean Hannity Show to discuss the tape. The full tape will be released tonight on Fox News' Hannity.

Apparently there is some sort of damning video coming out of the Breitbart camp. There is a conspiracy theory circulating that Breitbart was killed because he was planning to release the Obama video....andrewclunn wrote:I'm just posting here to follow this thread.

O.k. - it is 99% certain at this point that Romney will be going up against the great and powerful Obama later this year.
Time to start analyzing!
Can Romney win? How likely is it? What factors will effect the outcome? Could you live with a Romney Presidency, or as in the last two elections, will people say they would rather move to another country if he wins?
Is Romney one of the "stupid" Republicans, or is he one of the "evil" Republicans? Or, both?

RealClearPolitics' aggregate has been putting Obama above Romney by between 4% and 5% for a while now. I don't trust individual polls; I trust RCP's aggregates though:

Romney is not stupid. He's as "evil" so far as sociopathy is "evil." Gingrich and Romney are tied for the most disingenuous politician to have run for president since Michael Dukakis. Romney makes John Kerry look genuine and likable. Is Romney one of the "stupid" Republicans, or is he one of the "evil" Republicans? Or, both?

I'd be willing to put up a little money against Romney at those odds. I think the chances of a contested convention that goes against Romney, while low, are above 1%.Coito ergo sum wrote:O.k. - it is 99% certain at this point that Romney will be going up against the great and powerful Obama later this year.
I'd be pretty happy with Romney winning. Unlike most candidates, the more I look at Romney's positions, the better I like them. Can Romney win? How likely is it? What factors will effect the outcome? Can he win? Probably not. Obama's billionaire donors will bury Romney in negative ads - in fact, they've already started to do so.
Neither as stupid nor as evil as Obama. Is Romney one of the "stupid" Republicans, or is he one of the "evil" Republicans? Or, both?

As racist as Obama is, I just don't understand why he doesn't lead his people back to Africa. When you think that racism will always be a problem, then there is only one thing to do.......
