Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently - new TV series

I've heard nothing about it so I have no idea how good it will be but there's a new series starting tonight on BBC4.

Will watch and hope!

Interesting - I read the books twenty-something years ago.
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

They did do a pilot episode some time back (which I just assumed they weren't going to follow-up). It was quite good, but I do wonder if it's the sort of thing that could be stretched to a whole series.

By sheer coincidence I watched the pilot last night, and it was fun. As you can tell, I'm not watching the first episode, since I didn't know it was on until just now... However I shall endeavour to catch up.

Mmmm - this I would like to see on our TV, too.

Watched this earlier - very well done. Managed to... obtain the pilot which I am watching now.
