The blindfolding of students attracted notice after the January arrest of Miramonte Elementary teacher Mark Berndt, who has pleaded not guilty to 23 counts of lewd conduct for allegedly photographing students blindfolded and being spoon-fed his semen.

In the nauseating images taken in his classroom some of the children had a spoon held up to their mouths as if they were going to ingest a clear-white liquid.
A blue plastic spoon and container found in the trash in his classroom tested positive for Berndt's semen, authorities said.
Children were also fed semen on cookies, sheriff's Lt. Carlos Marquez said. ‘If it wasn't for the film processor, this could still be continuing today,’ said Marquez.

I don't see how banning the use of blindfolds for educational purposes (though admittedly it's far from an important lesson) is going to solve the problem.

...would be a little harder to put the cockroaches on the children's faces without the blindfold, without them screaming.

Maybe they should divert some of the federal inspectors from their "lunch bag inspection" duties to the "make sure the teachers don't cum in the student's mouths" inspection duties... :ask:
