I shouldn't like that show, but it has grown on me.

Penny gives me wood.

I find it pretty much unwatchable, inexplicably, it manages to be even more annoying than Friends.

I must be almost the only person who's never seen it and doesn't even know what it's about.

True. I haven't seen it and don't care what it's about.

I love it! I've only seen it a few times, since we don't have cable, but it's hilarious!

Nerd scientists live across the hall from ditsy hot blonde. Hijinks ensue.

The jingle is sung by The Barenaked Ladies.

I like the humor, especially the liberal usage of words like "coitus."

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started--Wait!
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history,
Unraveling the mystery,
That all started with the Big Bang! BANG!
I like how Sheldon's mother is a Christian Creationist and the scientist characters are all atheists or agnostics. They even factor in Creationism jokes.

I do take issue, though, with the idea of drooling autotrophs. If it drools, it's not an autotroph.

Why shouldn't you like it?
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

That's because it's a 'merkin sit-com...not a proper British sit-com, like Keeping Up Appearances, or Dark Ages.
