Rick Santorum is leading in Michigan. 8-)

This ad also belongs in this thread, but since Santorum is taking a lead, it's worth a look to see how he's doing it.

The NRA must adore him, and now I understand why he won in Colorado. Who are we appealing to here, Spec OP gamers? :funny:

Nothing would please me more than to see Frothy defeat Romney in his home state.

Anal-eez is leading Romney in Michigan in the last 4 state polls, well outside the margins of error. Santorum is leading Romney in Ohio and is also +10-ish on Romney nationally.

I still think the good money is on a Romney nomination, if only because of his huge war chest. But Frothy is going to bloody up Romney pretty good.

Is this for real? I'm looking for the "onion" logo - but there doesn't seem to be one.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Not going to happen. Like I said, I'd still bet on Romney winning the nom. If Romney doesn't, then Obama wins in November by 100 electoral votes.

Why 100? That's a pretty narrow margin for such a certainty of your results.

Me, I think a strong turnout by the religious right has a fair chance of beating what will be a weak turnout for a disappointing incumbent.

You're fantasizing. If you want to see what happens when a "disappointing incumbent" meets a fringe candidate who cannot appeal to independents & moderates, I refer you to 1972.

ExCommunicate was being polite. In 2008, Obama won the electoral vote 365-173. If his opponent is Santorum, I think he'll take at least 40 states.

And are you seriously griping about Awlaki? Say it ain't so. Then go complain to Abe Lincoln about all those Confederates he shot down without trial.

The only reason Santorum is doing well is because most of the normal Republicans have already given up, and it's mostly the racist religious loons who are still participating in the primaries.

There's nothing "natural" about a 5% unemployment rate and nothing to say that we're entitled to such an unemployment rate. Ina changing world, past performance does not guarantee future results. Regardless, we likely still wouldn't hit 5% unemployment for at least 5 years, regardless of who is in the White House.
Health insurance for individuals and small businesses that's allowed to cover abortions.
That's an odd litmus test for voting for a president.
And bring back to life the American citizen you assassinated without trial.
You mean those American citizens in open rebellion against the United States, giving aid and comfort to its sworn enemies, and who have renounced their citizenship?

By 2014, it will apply to almost everyone. And when Obama made it a centerpiece of his agenda to pass a health care system which prohibits health insurance from covering abortion, then yes, it's a major issue for people who are prochoice.
And bring back to life the American citizen you assassinated without trial.
You mean those American citizens who did nothing more than publish on line magazines objecting to the government?
:fix:

Honestly, are you one of those Bush fans who think that things like "the war on drugs" and "the war on terror" are actual wars?
