A lot of people forget, for all the great music of the decade, how much dreck it produced, too.

Some of the above count as dreck for sure, but the nostalgia element saves them for some of us. This on the other hand... :tdown: ..on the cusp of the Beatles arrival. God knows where pop music would have gone if they hadn't turned up.
