More like news TV fodder for all of yesterday and today, endlessly recycling the same news, videos and pictures. By tomorrow morning, the news channels will be looking for something else, as the human interest angle wears off.

Sorry. That was my fault.
I went on a Caribbean cruise over New Year, and even though we got a free upgrade, I STILL found a gideon's bibble in our stateroom. :lay:
First night at sea, that fucker went straight over the side.
(Those of you worried about poisoning the sea life, fear not: Fish can't read.)

So anyway, we all know how bad a shot Sky Daddy is - apparently Hurricane Katrina was Divine Retribution for a lesbian who had the audacity to live in the greater New Orleans area - and the name of the ship was "Costa Concordia", I'm thinking he mis-read it as "Discordia" and thought I was on board.

Sorry. :(

I guess it really is all about the nookie! Image

Nice - authorities are looking for Domnica Cemortan, a 25 year old Moldovan hottie passenger who was the "guest" of one of the officers... she was apparently on the bridge at the time of the collision...

Cue some predictable sexist jokes.

Not here though: Having an unauthorized person on the bridge is bad enough, but in circumstances like this, whoever let her in there (and tolerated her presence) is in trouble deep.

Not necessarily. Passengers can tour the bridge when the OOD gives the okay. It's one of the prime ways to earn a BJ.

But Cemortan, who has given several interviews to Moldovan media, contradicted the captain's reported statement.

She said she was at dinner with friends on Jan. 14 when the crash occurred and was summoned to the bridge to translate for Russian passengers who were being evacuated.

Cemortan has hailed Schettino as a hero, telling the Moldovan network Jurnal TV, "the captain saved 3,000 to 4,000 people."

She also defended the ship;s crew.

While the whole playing chicken with the rocky coast thing is pretty negligent, it is true that over 99% of the passengers were evacuated successfully.
