They say it isn't a party. They say they have no agenda, except to get the majority opinion truthfully represented. But it could all be just more propaganda, for all I know. Time will tell. 새옹지마.maiforpeace wrote:Isn't that your new party, FBM?Ian wrote:The poll missed Americans Elect. It might get some increasing attention in the coming months.

I'm a registered Dem who would never ever vote Republican or other conservative, though I've no qualms about straying from the Democrats. I tend to vote for lesser evils as well as I'm never truly thrilled with any of the choices.

Ah, then. That should work out for you just dandy, as long as you're already the head of a multi-billion corporation.Svartalf wrote:You had me at "personal finances", since the GOP is a secret Mammon cult.FBM wrote:Depends on what you mean by "do as well." Yeah. That's like saying that I make two and a half million KRW/mo, before extras. I don't get much attention from presidential candidates. I'm guessing you get about as much?Svartalf wrote:I'm at the head of a fortune that must range in the billions of CFA.

You make more than twice my income. Not surprising given you've got a half decent job.

The non-merkins can, of course, play by picking the party that they think they would support, were they merkin.
Huxley's suggestion of the royalists is well taken. We may well need a good monarch to set things right. Look what Caesar did for Rome, after all.
