Foyle's War - anyone else a fan?

Post by Ronja » Sun Dec 18, 2011 9:57 pm

Just watched the episode 4 (8) "The Funk Hole" - MiM was sure that he hadn't seen it and I found several details quite unfamiliar, yet others I know I have seen. So we concluded that I must have watched it late some night when he was away, and slept on and off during it.

Anyway, I really like the series and wish I could get my hands on episodes 1, 4, 7, 11 and 12.

Anyone else here a fan?
"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." - Maureen J

My wife certainly is, and from the occasional episode I've seen it seems to be very well put together, although I watch very little TV these days...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

I've recently been getting these from the library over the past month or so to watch while I ride my stationary bike - I LOVE them.

And Anthony Howell is :swoon:

I'm familar with the show, but haven't really watched. Sounds like I should.

I love Foyle. Both libraries that I regularly patronize stock the DVDs, and while I haven't systematically acquired them, I have a large bunch on disk.
