I was kidding, of course. But the "fake an invasion to get the people under control" meme is a very popular one with the tinfoilers. So much so that I doubt some of them would believe it if they did actually land and started fighting us. For example, one guy over at ATS stated that the release of "Skyline" and "Battle: Los Angeles" so close together was proof positive of a false flag operation about to happen.
