Using the same format of tenuous linkage I'm going to say off the top off my head... Armageddon. A buch of oil drillers go into space to drill into an oncoming meteor to plant a nuclear bomb within and blow it up saving the day.

Please, Ian, we all know that the "rebels" were no better than the Empire. They were just fighting to preserve or reinstate the old "Republic" which, as we all know, a republic is just a smokescreen and window dressing. People never have any "freedumb" - it's all a big sham. The rebels were just fighting for tyranny of the Senate, ruled by a shadowy theocracy of warrior monks.
