Wouldn't it be fun to do myths in the country of their origin? They could do the myth about an Irishman who left a bar under his own power.Animavore wrote:For a second there I thought they done an episode or part thereof in Ireland

I just wish they'd grow some controversial balls and do some Bible myths

It's a no go. Only Jesus could pull off those stunts.Animavore wrote:I just wish they'd grow some controversial balls and do some Bible myths
Unless they show how a Bronze-Age charlatan could make those magic tricks work?

I'm pretty sure you could make a wooden boat with the dimensions of the Ark as detailed in Genesis and show such a craft is not seaworthy. You don't even need to do the more unreasonable part of trying to load it with animals to dispel the myth.hadespussercats wrote:It's a no go. Whoops! I guess they'll be getting the bill for that one.Gawdzilla wrote:http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/cannonbal ... -du/nFwRj/
Luckily no one was hurt.
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

You forget that God's magic made it work. Oh, and faith.Animavore wrote:I'm pretty sure you could make a wooden boat with the dimensions of the Ark as detailed in Genesis and show such a craft is not seaworthy. Well of course it's never going to convince True BelieversTM but that doesn't mean watching it come apart over a period of three to four days won't make good television.hadespussercats wrote:You forget that God's magic made it work. Re: Mythbusters busted more than a myth.
So what were they trying to demonstrate with the cannon ball?

I sure hope this doesn't mean they won't get to blow stuff up at the Alameda Bomb Range...

Well according to the Gospel of Thomas (I think it was) by simply staring at them and making them drop dead.apophenia wrote:Wonder how Jesus dealt with bullies as a child?

I heard mention filming was suspended pending a review, but didn't chase the link. It was over at JREF if you're interested.Seth wrote:I sure hope this doesn't mean they won't get to blow stuff up at the Alameda Bomb Range...
