I read that up to the first misplaced apostrophe.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

>>Social anxiety disorder is a hidden epidemic in our midst.<<

I think maybe we weren't prepared for city life. It is a new phenomenon. I am OK mostly but I can't really last at social events that go for hours unless there is some specific activity.

I am getting some understanding of various anxiety states from a couple of boards. I can sympathize with all the "I'm trapped" feelings many anxiety sufferers feel. My own is strictly specific situations which I could avoid if I arranged things.

But more in pub if someone restarts the old anxiety thread.

Help me out here, why would we want to recover?

I don't think bipolarism is an aberration.
IMO it is an advanced state of being.

I remember thinking, after recovering a bit from an extended period of mania, that my experience seemed so similar to what I've read about shamans. Then I started visiting some BP/schizophrenia forums (do you know The Icarus Project?), and it seems that many, many people had arrived at that notion before me.

I don't know how I feel about it. But I do wish my own culture valued mental quirks the way other cultures do.

Dries is a phoney. The rest here are arse licking.
I've seen people like this, the "hey everybody, look at me everyone. I'm a biochemically sad bag of tricks, oh dear, oh my" - poseurs.

Listen Dries. If you want to swallow some pimps pills, and then sycophantise about some god-forsaken psychologists cult camp that you attended to, just to get liked as some intellectual patient, then, please, don't spew all that cow crap all over us. Right? Right.
Just fiuck off man, and ay why, say why you think your adulators here are pawns in your sycophantic mind-game, and all will be true and just. Christamuckin what a fucking phoney.

I think. I think. I think you should grow beansprouts. Eat your beansprouts. And then ask yourself. Ask yourself was anything really said here. No. We both know that. Great pose by the way. That's your best interpretation.
