Who said he could? Not me. He's got lots of help, primarily Hillary Clinton and the Treaty Power, which he plans to abuse by signing on to various international firearms control treaties that he hopes will fundamentally transform the United States of America into a vassal state of the United Nations by binding us to treaties that will infringe on our right to keep and bear arms.

What he's missed is that the People will not put up with it if he does so. Interesting fact: "Black Friday" (the day after Thanksgiving) is traditionally one of two biggest shopping days in the US. And this year, more firearms were sold on Black Friday, and more federal NICS checks were done than on any one day in history.

It's only paranoia if they aren't out to get you. It happens that the hoplophobes, Progressives and Marxists are out to get us. Sadly for them, their secret is blown, we know what they are planning, and we're doing a little planning ourselves to deal with them decisively should they attempt to implement their plans. And it doesn't necessarily involve ballot boxes or polite discourse.
