Hot spit. "a bit boring" is my middle name.

I think there is a thread about it somewhere and I have read mixed reviews but thinking of seeing the Rum diaries ( no pun intended!) tomorrow. Anyone seen it yet?

Watched Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Seance last night. A C minus. The lead actress delivers an interesting performance, but it's typical recycled asian horror tropes and a plot that never quite gels. (That and your willing suspension of disbelief is sorely tested early on.)

Manchurian Candidate (the original)

I'm not sure I want to watch the remake, even though that was our plan - it can't measure up, I suspect.

It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." - Maureen J

I want to see Tyrannosaur.

Hugo looks like it might be quite nice.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I loved the new Muppet movie. Jim Parsons made a cameo appearance and I cheered.

Went to see Hugo yesterday - Scorsese's latest. Highly recommended, though more for adults despite it being more or less aimed at kids. The pacing is slow in the way French films tend to be (he obviously borrowed a lot of French styling) and it will bore kids used to the wizz bang of modern blockbusters.

Source Code. Fair, but easily passed over. And the science is stupid.

Watched Thor the other day. Completely hat-stand but I enjoyed it.

Were you not on the edge of your seat wondering if Thor would ever get his godhood back and save the Universe from Loki's nefarious plotting? :nervous:
