I think Schneibster conflates correlation and causation because of his leap. He saw that there was a high number of tested individuals who were diagnosed psychopathic and had a physical brain anomoly. He went on to suggest that finding this brain anomoly would indicate that someone was a psychopath. I

To me, that was mashing together the correlative relationship with a causal one. If he really was confused about the differences in meaning, they were conflated. If he deliberately mixed the two meanings, they were conflated.

A jury's determination of guilt or innocence, or liability or non-liability is not a determination of truth, but of probability.

The original financial crisis was caused by deregulation of investment banking, and resulting irresponsible behavior by investment bankers.

Every bit of that is fact; and you're denying it.
