Now there's an unbiased post.

:puppet:
What? He sure doesn't live like the common man. Let's just say he has expensive tastes, something that should be unbecoming to a socialist. Especially when some of that is done on the IMF dime, which is eventually comes out of the tax payer's pocket.
I don't care if I hit the lottery, spending over $2K a night on a hotel suite would make me ill :|~
He's French. That's "socialist," not socialist.

ETA: It's like "Libertarian" vs. libertarian. They're actually complete opposites.

I'm drinking so things are just blurry enough to not make that distinction.
So he isn't a communist? (as Seth would put it)

The French "Socialist" party is about as socialist as the US Democrats, if not even less so. They have an actual wing of the Communist Party over there; keep in mind the Internationale was written in French.

Seth wouldn't know a real communist if one jumped up and bit him on the ass.

Well, outside a monastery or a hippie collective with too much pot, where are the real communists?

There're some down in South America. Not as many as claim to be, though.

No, I've met a few. They know a lot of economics; but they ignore certain key segments of Keynes' writings. And reality.

Kinda like how Darwinism was outlawed by the Soviets back in the day.

Here's how professionals do it: http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archive ... kahn-case/

Apparently it wasn't three minutes it was thirteen seconds. That they were high-fiving and dancing and shit after their interview with Nafissatou Diallo.

Carry on.
