p.s. I've been thinking about writing a short story in which the hero is a Nazi. No apologies. No, "Oh, but this is a good Nazi. You know. Like Schindler." Nope. Just a regular old Nazi. A Nazi who works in a concentration camp exterminating Jews, in fact. How does he rationalize it? Well, he was a butcher before the war, so it's much the same. It's all just meat to him. So no remorse, nothing weighing on his conscience.
Only one problem with this story. I'd have to do a lot of research. And I'm very lazy. So that's that

Basically, Turturro tries his best to "do" the Coens but falls short - the bits that work, work really well, but there are too many bits that miss - still, some brilliant performances from an eclectic cast raise this offbeat drama/musical to watchable status.
