A truly funny scene.
Helena Bonham Carter pretending to be Emma Watson. Her face changes and she mimics Watson perfectly.

Well do you have a clip or what?

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

It's the Gringotts scene in HP 7B. I doubt there's a clip on Youtube yet. It was just fun to see a really professional actress do magic, without a wand.tattuchu wrote:Well do you have a clip or what?

Ani, I've always gauged whether I wanted to see a movie by your reaction to it when available. When you hated it I could not wait to see it.Animavore wrote:And there it will stay.Gawdzilla wrote:Sorry, Ani, you may never see it, it's in a Harry Potter movie.Animavore wrote:Ok.

Is it on DVD? I'll have to put it in my amazon cart. Alas, too many things in my amazon cart and never enough money to pay for themGawdzilla wrote:It's the Gringotts scene in HP 7B. Oh I don't hate Harry Potter films. They just don't appeal to me. Most un-animated kids films don't.Gawdzilla wrote:Ani, I've always gauged whether I wanted to see a movie by your reaction to it when available. Get Netflix, dude. Save a fortune. I've only bought three DVDs since I got Netflix, HP 7A and &7B and Paul.tattuchu wrote:Is it on DVD? I'll have to put it in my amazon cart. I agree that was one of the best moments in the film - though it quite breaks the fourth wall to realise it - to see the one actress perform two almost opposite characters.Gawdzilla wrote:It's the Gringotts scene in HP 7B. I am glad the films are over now though, - now I can forget them and go back to just remembering the books.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

I did a film studies class in grad school, and it honed my appreciation of these kinds of things.Psychoserenity wrote:I agree that was one of the best moments in the film - though it quite breaks the fourth wall to realise it - to see the one actress perform two almost opposite characters.Gawdzilla wrote:It's the Gringotts scene in HP 7B. In the movies we have a lot of kids, but we also have some serious older actors, like Carter. She owned that role from the first time you saw her in chains, at Askaban. (How bad do you have to be to be put in chains THERE?)I am glad the films are over now though, - now I can forget them and go back to just remembering the books.
