Washington (CNN) -- NBC has apologized to Rep. Michele Bachmann after the house band for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" played an inappropriate song during her appearance on the show Monday, CNN confirmed Thursday.
Bachmann received a letter Wednesday from Doug Vaughan, NBC's senior vice president for special programs and late night, that apologized for what happened and called the incident "not only unfortunate but also unacceptable," said Alice Stewart, the Republican presidential hopeful's spokeswoman.
According to Stewart, the letter also said the show's band, which played the song "Lyin' Ass Bitch" by Fishbone as Bachmann first appeared on stage, was "severely reprimanded."

I'm surprised he didn't ask her to jump on a trampoline like on his old The Man Show

I think every part was justified. She's a professional liar, with brains inferior to that of any long eared equid (or she thinks with the rear end), and she's a nasty piece of work that deserves the colloquial comparison to female canids, it's the female canids who ought to protest against bachman being referred to as one of them.

I've addressed on other threads the issue of the constant labeling of all republicans as stupid. One thing you can't say about Bachmann is that she's stupid.
I think this kind of thing, and calling her a "liar," is unwarranted. She doesn't seem to speak any more untruths than any other politician, Democrat or Republican, including the current denizen of the White House.

That being said, I'd never vote for Bachmann.
I don't care if ALL republican suffer from prion based disorders, though a lot seem to, I was making a specific comment about a particular one that was noticed for crapping from the upper opening, until others of her side started hogging the limelights with THEIR steam of inanities. She may be savvy, but she's said stuff that not even somebody lying through his teeth would have had the guts to blurt out. and as a politician, she lies for a living, her doing more or less of it than others is immaterial, though the amount of it she's been caught in makes her somewhat special.
