I'm with the Christian here.
The rational thing would be for both of them to agree it's just a sticker.

Hold him down I'll brand him, 6s can be tricky, the bottom bit tends to fill in when they heal so it will have to be a BIG branding .....

Then he can burn in hell with the rest of us. :funny:

Seriously though, I dont' think he should have been fired. Unless there was some other underlying factor for his firing we don't know about, they should hire him back.

I'm pretty sure he'll win the lawsuit unless they've fucked up the employment law in his state (which has happened a fair bit in the Southeast US).

He's still a nutjob.

Mee too, I mean what the hell? fire somene for not wearing a stupid sticker? If my boss told me I had to wear a sticker, I'd stick it on his ass and tell him, "here, double the pleasure".

Agreed. The guy even applied to take the day off, they could have let him do that.

I'm behind the fired guy as well. Imagine how many here would be up in arms if an atheist employee was fired from a company for refusing to wear a prominent cross round their neck during easter.

I don't think that any company should be allowed to enforce uniform restrictions that employees object to on moral grounds (however batshit bonkers we might think those moral arguments!) A compromise should have been reached.

I'm behind the employee as well, if the story is as stated, if it turns out he was in fact fired for asking not to wear the sticker or asking for a day off.

But I'm also keeping in mind one of his first quotes on the video - "The people accepting the mark, they're going to burn in hell." I'd be more sympathetic toward the company if it turns out he was in his employers' and fellow workers' faces about it, telling them they're going to burn in hell and whatnot. Especially if there were past instances of harassment by this employee, rather than of this employee.

If case gets to court and no more evidence is presented than that of the fired man and his lawyer, however, it does sound like a wrongful dismissal.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.
