Perhaps the fault is in you, and not the road. I am constitutionally unfit for taking anything but the high road and I rather doubt anyone has ever thought me soft for doing so. Indeed, the high road is far from soft, for when you take it, not only are your claims punishing, they're punishing and true. That's a weapon the low road doesn't afford you.

We have very different ideas of what the "high road" and "low road" are. The "low road" for me doesn't include dishonesty; that I will not stoop to and I resent the implication I have and demand evidence or a retraction.

I will freely admit to being a dick, but I did not ever lie that I am aware of, and on one occasion when I did accidentally through misunderstanding a third party's article, I admitted it and retracted it as soon as someone made it clear.
