That's much what I think about all systems of goverance. The larger, more complex a society is, the more dissonance is in the system until eventually corrodes as the dissonance grows, those who rule the society have to take all these different humans and hack them fit it particular ideological shape. Its why I think so many Empires collapse from within slowly and punctuated by the occasional bloodbath. I would imagine this is pretty much a mechanistic process, though some ideologies are more likely to collapse much faster than others, due to the radical extremes under which they expect humans to endure. The 20th Century seemed like a lab full of them. Perhaps by the 30th we might have solved it, if we don't die out.

I understand your concerns .. but you seem to be focussing your anger and frustration about them on a person who hasn't espoused views that you seem to be attributing to him.

Sleep well, Schneibs.

That seems to be the nub of the difference Audley Strange and Schneibster are looking at poverty from. The former sees it in global terms. The latter relative to the communities people live in.
It's bigotry. Plain, simple, easy, and obvious. They're not whining rich princelings, which Audley has been quoted calling them. And that, also, is bigotry. Sorry, I don't like bigots. And that's not gonna change, ever.
