Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
charlou, you're putting a lot of effort in, and that's good. It's way more than I have done thus far (note to self: never play more than one game at a time, both games suffer.) So I'm going on what my recollections are, and if you caught me in some technicality (I've just skimmed your post above, I'll read it more closely when I get the chance) then mea culpa but you're really barking up the wrong tree about me. You have been all game. What you're not considering is that I'm not all-knowing (i.e. scum) thus, I could not be sure that andrew was town - still can't but I do accept his claim. What I'm talking about is if I were scum I'd have nailed andrew, because not only was his 'debating, debating' post a special tell, as scum I'd KNOW he's a good NK target.
You seem to be fixated on me, and on amok. You say amok is focussing on minutiae, but you are kind of doing the same thing.
Now, I will finally re-read the whole game threads.
Edit: just saw your most recent post charlou - accusing me of lying is a bit of a button for me. I'm done with responding to you for now.

If you have a problem with me saying you lied, you should maybe read my post properly instead of just 'skimming' it.
You don't have time to read my post properly now, but have time to read the whole game threads?

Are you suggesting that irre is a Don, causing Andrew to get the read he did, or are you suggesting that they are both lying?charlou wrote: With that, I think I'll ##vote irretating##
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
I'm willing to retract the term 'lied' and change it to 'made a scummy slip up' ... a slip up that has given you away.

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
irre is either the Don or the traitor. I don't think they're both lying .. There is a seer in this game .. Gonzo's order of night actions tells us so .. no-one has counter-claimed seer, so I'll accept Andrew's claim.Contrapposto wrote:Are you suggesting that irre is a Don, causing Andrew to get the read he did, or are you suggesting that they are both lying?charlou wrote: With that, I think I'll ##vote irretating##
Contra, do you think irre's a Don, or the traitor?

Regarding the part in bold: Why is he still alive then...If such a good NK target as you claim?irretating wrote:charlou, you're putting a lot of effort in, and that's good. Why a suspicious looking half-claimer (Zig) and someone giving off no special tells (Ade)?

If we have a vig then Zig was the vig target and Ade was the scum target, imo.

Yay! Gonzo's order of night actions! Think about that, people, please. What haven't we talked about? Look at the order.charlou wrote:irre is either the Don or the traitor. It must be Irre and/or Aza as Scum and practically anyone other than andrew and char as traitor.

Contra ...
irre claimed she recognised Andrew's 'all but announcement' at the time he made it ... she verified that she recognised it at that moment again when I asked her if her recognition was in hindsight. But this is just not so, given that 24 hours later she was claiming she thought Andrew was possibly the traitor and suggesting the vig kill him.
Read my previous post, where I vote for irre ... all the quotes and links are there.
And she responds to my accusation of her with:

No, that's not what irre was talking about in the posts I've quoted. She was not talking about "if I (irre) were scum", she brought it up today to counter my comment that Az mistaking a special tell for a scum tell:irretating wrote:What you're not considering is that I'm not all-knowing (i.e. scum) thus, I could not be sure that andrew was town - still can't but I do accept his claim. I asked irre where this happened and this is what followed:irretating wrote:it wasn't "sniffing out"... andrew all but announced it to the world yesterdaycharlou wrote:^Also, Az is leaning town for me and his scumdar can be pretty damn good. So he was wrong about Andrew, but he sniffed out a special, not scum. It happens.

charlou wrote:>snipped out quotes, they are as above<
Well that's subtle as fuck. Are you sure you're not finding these with the benefit of hindsight?
^That's where irre confirmed she recognised it at the time Andrew made the post she linked to. Not a mere confirmation, but she elaborated as if she recalled it like she were still in the moment, and I had to be there to recognise it too.irretating wrote:Nope, I saw it "live" ...and if you were online as the thread unfolded, you might have picked up on it too. I mean, what's he debating? He's under lynch pressure, he's already asked about when the day round ends.
Trying to dismiss my attention, while appealing to amok. I found irre scummy on day one ... on day two a bit meh, but leaning more townish .. earlier today more townish still, but niggling doubts ... Rereading day two in light of what irre has posted today has clinched it for me.irretating wrote:You seem to be fixated on me, and on amok. Say's she has no time to read my post properly now (more dismissal), but then says she's now going to reread the game threads. Another slip, and one that looks more than a tad like flail.irretating wrote:Now, I will finally re-read the whole game threads.

if we're to go by that we'd also have a blocker in play somewhere.
