Catching up.
I never saw Andrew as a special. I was inclined to see him as a wifoming traitor until he outed. I realise that I have been a bit traitor fixated.

Maybe it's just me but I am having a hard time understanding why charlou is still alive.

At FF anyway scum always go for the protector role at the first opportunity, come nightfall.

As a matter of fact I was just killed the very same night for outing as the jailer (Jailkeeper) in the game at FF.
I can't discuss anything further though about that game. FF'ers lurk sometimes and the game is still going on.

What are other's thoughts on this?

A couple of questions amok ...

I can understand a change of mind about DP (you were willing to lynch him yesterday), but why is he practically cleared?

I waver back and forth on MZ and irre ... feel okay about gib and Matt is leaning town, aided by his place on b.tern's list.

I have trouble thinking Az is scum and not just been misreading things, but he's not done anything pro-town thus far. Why do you think he is scum?
I now think DP is Town because I see his lynch vote on me as a sensible Town move. He's not sure about me (understandable, because of my play), but it would be very, very valuable if a bandwagon started to gain more information. I know I'd flip Town; he's not sure, but the information would be good, either way.

My problem with Aza relates very much to his annoyed post about jumping off the andrewclunn bandwagon (onto b.tern) and his ridiculous (to me) justification for voting Contra out of the gate today.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

He is acting almost exactly like I would when Traitor . And the suicide wish FFS
You're comparing yourself to DP :hairfire:

But the suicide wish thing, I'm just not seeing it. I was right there on day 1 when that was going down. I believe DP was like me (as in, not knowing about this vote no lynch mechanism to save charlou from being lynched due to people not being around to remove their votes). I was the one to ask DP about taking one for the team.
I think Irre is town. She's working damned hard anyway.

irre, today you linked to where you noticed Andrew all but announce his claim:

it wasn't "sniffing out"... andrew all but announced it to the world yesterday

Here's an exchange between you and Andrew that took place around 24 hours after the post of Andrew's that you linked to, and which you claim you recognised then and there that he was announcing he is a special to the world:

Major FoS on UT. This is the second time he's talking about scum seething about loss of night actions. He used this idea to clear aza (not seething) and now to FoS me (apparently seething.) Sounds like so much BS.

My thoughts (pre going over the rereading the game threads):

feck is not scum - he would never be so stupid as to sandbag on a lynch at the last minute.

dp is not scum - this is his town game, where he risks being lynched by merely opening his mouth.

^ I'm willing to put my mafia cred on the line about those two.

I'm thinking traitor is one of aza, MZ or andrew. Aza is right about andrew acting scummy (newness notwithstanding) and a half out using a big name character is whiffy. Amok has done the same thing, which makes this game uber weird. Why out just a character name? MZ's game is very different to his last few town games. Aza has also seemed different this game IMO, but if andrew flipped town then I'd reconsider my read on him.

I was happy with my zigmen vote and wouldn't have changed it even if I'd been on the spot at the day's end.

@amok: I'd be interested to know if you feel you're being played by adenosine. Think about this for a scum strategy: come into the game, zone in on one player (who, behold, is scum) and get major town creds upon the flip of that player. As I have said, my game is different, because I won't trolley track, but I do think a seer view of adenosine wouldn't be a bad idea.

Nice try. If, meaning that I'm not at all sure you'll flip town, when you flip. If I were vig, however, you'd be on my list of consideration.

The bolded bit was my take on Aza at the time. I wavered on whether to jump onto contra at that point.
I can't remember if it would be enough to save b.t. I think not.
I've found his later contributions more positive though.

I also need help with this statement. If it's jargon, I don't know it.

I have a problem, because I have a question I want to ask (I've been reading previous games hoping to find the answer, with no luck), but asking it is as likely to open a stupid can of irrelevant worms (if it turns out I'm out in left field - again) as anything else.

What do we all know for sure?

1) B.tern was Scum.
2) Aden was Town.
3) There are two killers.
4) There is a traitor.
5) Char is claimed Doc, with no counterclaim.
6) Andrew is claimed Seer, with no counterclaim.

What does Amok know in addition to that?
4) Amok is Town.

What do we all know besides those things? The information in the OP and our Role PMs.
re the bit I've bolded ... I'm interested in your question.

re the bit I've bolded ... I'm interested in your question.
It's a game mechanism question, rather than a question about actions by players in this game. I twigged after I wrote that about a distressing incident between Oblivion and Diva in a past game, and being so surprised that we are allowed to ask the GM such questions. I've sent a PM, asking. I haven't received an answer, but it was only an hour or so ago.

Okay.

amok, what do you think of irre lying about twigging to Andrew's claim at the time he made it, when clearly 24 hours later she still thought of him as possible traitor and suggested the vig kill him?
