Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

what i need to know is if this was an MSG3 thing, or whether Gratin was always aligned thusly
really can't see how DP/Gratin could be town then, what do you say?

the second one was more sarcasm than a serious offer, first one was genuine though, if you are the doc it would have been better to kill me than you.charlou wrote:Yep. The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Just finished catching up. charlou was right about my use of the janitor term here:
I think irretating is probably right about zig.
Janitors are not so uncommon where I come from.charlou wrote:I didn't pay much attention to Andrew's use of the word janitor there, but reading it now, it looks like he means janitor, not jailkeeper. I interpret his meaning that if I am lying and there's a real doc who is night killed before claiming, and then a janitor cleans up the real doc's body, you still wouldn't know I'm lying.gib wrote:a search for 'janitor' shows that was andrew:Magicziggy wrote:Irre mentioned janitor and jailing last night. What gives?
http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 3#p1037233
but he seems to be using it to mean jailkeeper, which is how my eyes read it at the time. This is the first i ever heard of janitor so it does seem weird that aza is now using that termandrewclunn wrote:It's not worth it to counter claim a scum fake cop claim on day 1, but is it generally considered a good idea to counter claim a doctor fake claim around here? I'd think not, so long as there's no janitor (as if there is a real doc, then when they die the fake claimer would be next to be lynched), so charlou's claim should go unanswered whether it's true or not. That said, I think we have to act as if it's true.
I think irretating is probably right about zig.
Claim to be immune to a vig kill? Well then why shouldn't a vig test that? Considering how unheard of janitors are hear, I'm thinking he was probably the traitor and this was Gonzo correcting for the previous error. And let me echo this:irretating wrote:Note: if zig was town he cannot have been killed by the vig, given his claim. Which I think was bs.
Just wanted to point that out, someone raised it as a possibility.
charlou wrote:If there is a one shot vig who used their action last night, please consider revealing what you know.
Nobody expects me...
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
I guess it's time for me to make a full claim. I am Volgin the GRU Seer. Last night I investigated irretating and got a GRU result.

Andrew why did you out you will now be dead as soon as Scum can manage and the cumulative information our seer has gleaned is that Irre is either innocent or the Don .

I tried not to out even with all the pressure on me yesterday. I was going to be forced to out today, that was clear. At least now irretating is cleared. While I could see people viewing my acclimating to this place as scummy yesterday, the pressure on me today is just suspicious as hell. My only real question at this point is whether to lynch azathoth or DP.
